Totes Gebirge 2005 - 2006
The Totes Gebirge (Dead Mountains -
refering to the apparent lack of vegetation) is a group of mountains in
Austria, part of the Northern Limestone Alps, lying between the
Salzkammergut and the Ennstaler Alpen. The highest point is the summit of
Grosser Priel, at 2,515 meters. I was there several times. This photo
gallery shows some photos from the trips in the years of 2005 and 2006.
